Yearning for the Day when…
In my playwriting class in the fall of 2023, I wrote my first one act play. It’s a silly medieval play inspired by the works of Monty Python and The Play that Goes Wrong. It is now being produced and directed by myself as apart of the Emerging Student Theatre Artists club’s season at Long Island University. The curtain goes up on April 7th!

The Plot:
"Two rival kingdoms think they’ve solved all their problems when they set Prince Alexander and Princess Eleanor to be married. However, that isn’t the case when Princess Eleanor writes a letter to Alexander stating “I am yearning for the day when I can hunt and kill you”. Yes, you read that right - hunt and kill. Queen Isabella (Prince Alexander’s mother) declares war against King Cedric (Princess Eleanor’s father) and chaos ensues.”
LIU’S PTAT ‘24 FINAL
After completely the Physical Text Analysis Track (PTAT) myself last year, I was awarded the position of Teaching Assistant for the upcoming junior year cohort. The Physical Text Analysis Track is the combination of Suzuki training, Anne Bogarts Viewpoints, and Laban efforts in order to allow for the body to affect the voice. It was a transformative experience for me as an actor and to be provided the opportunity to help others with their work was something I jumped at the chance to do. The final for this class is a large performance inviting all those in the Theatre and Dance program at Long Island University to come and see the work done in this year long study. The final takes place on May 8th.
Here are some pictures from my own PTAT final last year.
